Stillwater, MN – April 21st, 2010 - Stillwater will be the home of a new brewery in 2010.  Lift Bridge Beer Company is happy to announce that they have chosen a building to develop a new craft brewery in Stillwater.  In the shadows of the Stillwater water tower stands a 10,500 sq. ft. building that will become home to Lift Bridge Brewery in the months to come.  Lift Bridge Beer Co. has entered into an agreement to purchase the building located at 1900 Tower Drive in Stillwater, MN.

Plans are in place to purchase brewing equipment and obtain a brewer’s license.  The 10 year old building will allow for tours, brewing, retail growler and merchandise sales, events and expansion of existing Lift Bridge distribution in the Twin Cities metro area. 

The distribution includes kegs and bottles of Crosscut Pale Ale™, Farm Girl Saison®, and the upcoming summer seasonal, Minnesota Tan™.  Lift Bridge is also currently being distributed to other areas of Minnesota and Wisconsin, please check the website www.LiftBridgeBeer.com for specific retailers in your area. The Lift Bridge team is proud to bring a brewery back to Stillwater.

Farm Girl Saison®: “Honey Ginger Girl” – 5.5% ABV – An interesting take on our flagship, Farm Girl, this saison is infused with local honey and whole fresh ginger in the cask and aged for a unique experience. Relax and have a few!

Crosscut Pale Ale™: “Ol’ Pine Box” - 5.5% ABV - Well balanced amber pale ale accentuated by multiple additions of floral Cascade hops, including a copious amount within the cask, and our unique introduction of grapefruit zest to compliment the citrus notes of the hops. Aged on oak and spruce essence!

Chestnut Hill™: “A La Nutsack” – 7.5% ABV - A wonderfully big nut brown ale crafted with roasty toasty malts balanced with Yakima hops and just enough alcohol to keep you warm on an early spring afternoon. Aged with an overloaded sack of fresh roasted hazelnuts, heightening the experience. Enjoy!

Grumpy’s in Roseville will be tapping a firkin of Ginger Honey Girl on Friday at noon for Firkin Friday.  This is your chance to preview a pint before Firkin Fest on Saturday.  Stop by and check it out.

At Lift Bridge Beer Company, we are focused on making great beer.  We worked with Studio2 to create packaging that fit our beer and brand.  The resulting design by Studio2 for Crosscut Pale Ale™ won Graphic Design USA Package Design Awards.  Crosscut Pale Ale™ debuted in six-packs in early December 2009 and is available at fine beer stores throughout the Twin Cities Metro and surrounding communities. 

On Thursday, January 14th, 2010 from 6-8PM Roma will have a supply European beers for you to sample.  We will have cask of Farm Girl Saison® infused with Raspberry Indulgence from our friends at St. Croix Vineyard.  A great excuse to grab dinner at Roma Restaurant, Bar & Market.
